"Joe Roberts" Caputo

"Some things are so incredible that they border on the magical."

After a high school accident diverted me from becoming an auto mechanic, I pursued radio school, launching a 50-year career in radio and TV broadcasting. I worked as a disc jockey in the Southwest before moving to New York City, spending 17 years at a top-rated station. My love for golf led me to host a Travel Channel show, playing signature holes worldwide while sharing tips with pros.

After my wife's early passing, I continued life with my three children, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren in a condo overlooking a golf course in Coram, NY.

I began writing novels at 75, starting with a story about miraculous visions that raise money for the poor. Other works include The Right Number, a tale of unexpected love; Johnny Crystal, about a small but brilliant millionaire; and The Boy Who Painted Rainbows, set in 18th-century Germany, featuring a gifted orphan whose music is like painting with rainbows.
