From Disc Jockey to Published Author
Originally set to become an auto mechanic, an accident led me to radio school, sparking a 50-year career in radio/TV broadcasting. I worked as a disc jockey in the southwest and later at a top-rated station in NYC for 17 years. My love for golf landed me a TV show on The Travel Channel, where I played signature holes at famous courses worldwide. I currently live in a condo in Coram, NY, complete with a golf course, and cherish time with my family: three children, seven grandchildren, and five great- grandchildren.
I started writing novels when I was seventy-five. My wife had passed, I was retired and had some time in my hands.
I began writing novels at seventy-five, inspired by a vision of a statue smiling at a man. My books explore unique themes: “The Right Number” follows a woman’s unexpected connection with a cultured academic, while “Johnny Crystal” features a small but brilliant millionaire. “The Boy Who Painted Rainbows” is set in 18th century Germany, telling the story of an orphan with extraordinary musical talents.
